What is the GREEN PEEL®?
GREEN PEEL® is actually four different types of herb-powered peels whose roots can be traced back more than 60 years. This time-tested peel process actually uses a preparation of proven herbs along with special massage techniques to address a wide range of age-related skin concerns and signs of sun/environmental damage.
How do these four peels differ?
The biggest difference between these peels is their strength. The stronger peels generally involve the greatest pressure and the longest massage duration. We offer GREEN PEEL’s non-peeling options, GREEN PEEL® Fresh-Up and GREEN PEEL® Energy. Just because these products do not result in the peeling associated with conventional peel services does not mean they are ineffective. How does GREEN PEEL® Fresh-Up work?
Fresh-Up is a particularly soft and gentle option. As the herbal preparation is massaged into the skin, blood circulation is enhanced. Does GREEN PEEL® Energy work the same way?

Do I have to prepare my skin prior to treatment?
GREEN PEELs are so gentle that minimal preparation and after-care are involved. However, certain harsh ingredients and products can make your skin more sensitive to the herbs in GREEN PEEL®. So, Ama and our team may have you discontinue glycolic acids and retinoids prior to treatment.
How does the GREEN PEEL® Fresh-Up feel?
Relaxing! Think of it as a nice break from the busyness and stress of your day. We simply apply the formulation to the areas to be treated after cleansing your skin. This powerhouse herbal concoction is then massaged into the skin. You may feel some pressure and a gritty texture against the skin, but the process is completely chemical-free, does not include abrasive particles and ingredients, and does not cause pain or discomfort. We ensure the herbs have been fully absorbed before the preparation is removed and special healing creams, balms, and other products are applied.
What will my skin look like afterward?
You can notice improvements in your skin’s radiance immediately afterward. Full improvements can be seen and maintained with repeat treatments. Side effects are minimal and may include some redness. Be particularly vigilant about wearing sunscreen after any GREEN PEEL® treatment, as your skin will be more sensitive to the effects of UV/sunlight.
